Happy Holidays!

I cannot believe that Christmas is just a few days away!  This has been a season full of tumoil and loss of family and dear friends, but we have been hanging in there.  I have some new projects on the horizon, and I'm anxious to get back to scrapping on a regular basis again.

I can't believe more than a month has passed without a post!  A lot of stuff has happened with the death of Papa Herndon, but perhaps now I can get back to my regular routine. All for now, but look for more soon, very soon!

These pics of Jordan were perfect for the new Scribble Scrabble Lullaby of Birdland collection.  I stamped an image on the chipboard arrow, used pop dots to add dimension to the circle diecut, used my cricut for the title and circle.

Scribble Scrabble Lullaby of Birdland

I got my new Cricut Expression in anticipation of getting a Gypsy when they come out and I've been cutting paper every since! I paired a diecut with some stamps to create the layout, C. I did a stamp collage in the lower left corner and then layered the matted photo. I like the way the collage turned out.

Then, I scrapped a photo of my lovely daughter. Cricut letters and diecuts from the Lullaby of Birdland collection made the perfect choice for It's All About You. Check out some more of this awesome collection at http://www.scribblescrabble.net/.

Wild Child won the Texas Scrapfest sketch challenge held recently at Lone Star Scrapbook Co. Christian celebrated birthday #5 at Monkey Joe's and the new Scribble Scrabble Party Time collection was right on time!

I just got a package from Imaginisce with their new products and I love them! The papers are nice and glittery, which you can't see online but trust me, the details are gorgeous. Mother & Daughter

Just got back from a quick trip to Atlanta to visit Shaniqua and her family. We had a great visit, even though it was a fast one. I had hoped to see Christian play soccer, but the game was cancelled due to rain. Here's a picture that Kevin snapped of my dear daughter and me.

Here are a couple of layouts of grandson Christian playing in his first soccer game of the season. He managed to score 3 goals (but one was for the other team!) and was quite the little man of the day.

It's Over!

I taught my last class at Lone Star on Saturday. I've really enjoyed teaching, but I need time to rest, relax, and refresh. I'll still be hanging out at the store for Monday night crops, so drop by and say hello when you can.
