April 19 Class

Learn how to use sketches to design your own layouts. We'll use Becky Fleck's PageMaps as a tool to create some fast and fabulous pages. Becky Fleck, a contributing artist for Memory Makers Magazine, is one of the leading sketch designers. Her first book, Scrapbook PageMaps: Sketches for Creative Layouts, was released in February 2008. You’ll be able to see one of my layouts in this book! New papers, new designs, and new attitude will define this class. Sample layout coming soon!

Scrapbook PageMaps: Sketches for Creative Layouts

Look for my layout in this upcoming publication. This hard-cover book has an interior spiralbinding so the book lays flat on your working surface. In addition to 60 never-before-seen sketches in five popular sizes, along with 140 samples of artwork, you will also receive a deck of laminated cards that includes a thumbnail of all of the sketches in the book along with corresponding finished layouts. Helpful resource information such as a supply list and photo sizes are included on each card, along with page information cross-referencing the sketch back to the book. Available 2-28-08.

6 Layouts in 90 Minutes

The 6 Layouts in 90 Minutes Series will continue at Lone Star Scrapbook Co this quarter with the themes listed below. Classes fill up quickly, so sign up early to get a spot. Please email me if you have any questions.

January 26: Love Happens
You will create layouts using the new Scenic Route Loveland collection. You will get an entire paper kit consisting of 5 sheets of double sided cardstock, 1 Scrap Strip, 6 sheets background sheets, 1 12"x12" die cut sheet, 1 sticker embellishment sheet, 1 chipboard embellishment sheet and over 200 alphabet stickers. Come prepared to create 6 layouts seen in leading publications.
Class fee: $30 (includes a complete Scenic Route Paper Kit)

February 23: Favorite Memories
Create a spectrum of 6 layouts using fresh and fun papers. You will experiment with new techniques and engage in sharing ideas and tricks with other artists. Your layouts will dazzle you and add sparkle to your albums.
Class fee: $26

March 8: Spring Fling
Just Do It! Create fast and fabulous pages that you'll enjoy for years to come. We'll work with some new products and design some awesome pages. Be ready to stamp, paint, emboss and have lots of fun!

Holiday Card Class

Join the holiday spirit as we make an assortment of Holiday Cards.
